Do I need a domain name to make a website?
No. You can start on a free web address like yourname.webnewbee.page and be online today. Get your own domain (like yourbusiness.ca) when you want a more professional address or email at your own name. You can switch any time and your site follows.
Should I pick .ca or .com?
If your customers are in Canada, .ca is a good choice: people recognise it and it signals you’re Canadian. You need to meet the Canadian Presence Requirements to register one. A .com works too. Either usually costs about $15 to $30 a year at a domain registrar.
Can I get email with my website?
Yes, with your own domain. WebNewBee includes up to 3 email addresses, like hello@yourbusiness.ca, once you connect a domain you own. They work on your phone and computer. A free web address can’t carry email.
Can I keep using the email address I already have?
